CASTELLO DI VICARELLO
On the first night, Castello di Vicarello opens its gates and welcomes all hunting enthusiasts for a get-together over a delicious dinner.
The dinner is held in the Castle’s medieval kitchen, during which the Baccheschi Berti family shares important information for the hunting day ahead.

THE HUNTING DAY
The real hunting experience starts the following day, in the early morning, at Valle di Buriano.
During breakfast, guests are introduced to the locals, who will guide the hunt. The “Capocaccia” breaks the silence by blowing the horn to officially announce the start of the hunt, followed by a moment full of excitement, suspense and action.
After the adventure, a traditional BBQ-style lunch prepared by Castello di Vicarello’s staff will be served at the hunting lodge.
After a fulfilling meal, hunters can explore the hunting reserve whilst participating in Clay Pigeon shooting activities and watching an authentic Maremman cowboy show. Meanwhile, the “Canai” collect the wild boars in order to crown the best hunter.
THE DINNER
Before the hunting adventure comes to an end, guests gather over a candle-lit dinner and a rewarding glass of Castello di Vicarello’s award-winning wine.
Before departing the following morning, a traditional breakfast will be served.
